How does ja-ti track unfollowers?

We regularly scan your public follower list on X. By comparing the current list to the previous scan, we can identify exactly who followed you and who unfollowed you.

How often are followers checked?

By default, we check your followers every 6 hours. For very large accounts (millions of followers), the frequency may adapt slightly based on API limits, but you will always receive daily summaries.

What's the difference between lost and gone?

"Lost" means the user actively clicked the unfollow button. "Gone" means their account was deactivated, suspended, or deleted by X. We distinguish between the two so you know if it was a real unfollow.

Do I need to connect my X account?

No. We never ask for your X password or OAuth access. We only need your public username to track your followers.

Can I track multiple accounts?
